Dr. Shakroo earned his Doctor Degree in Dental Surgery from Virginia Commonwealth University. Upon graduation, he was elected to be a member of the Honor Dental Society (OKU), and he was recognized by the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology for his interest and accomplishment. Dr. Shakroo also received a certificate of excellence in general dentistry and a certificate of recognition as a teaching assistant from Virginia Commonwealth University. He is an adjunct faculty in VCU Dental School. Prior to Virginia Commonwealth University Dr. Shakroo received a Dental degree in 2001 from Baghdad University, after that he enrolled in an Advanced Education program in General Dentistry. In 2003, he joined a residency program in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and started practicing general dentistry in his own clinic.

Dr. Shakroo was married in December 2004 and blessed with three boys. He loves reading, learning, spending time with family and friends, and participating in his local activities.
